Hi everyone, I'm new to Mums net.
I'm pregnant with my second child (I'm 31) and we had are 12 week scan yesterday.
We were told our NT results were 4.2 and we need to be referred to a consultant, which is in two weeks time.
I haven't had my blood results back yet, but I'm just after any positive experiences.
I haven't been able to sleep and I feel quite unsettled. Thank you

Sorry this is happening in your pregnancy. Sending strength to you for the consultants meeting and any tests ahead too. I have a recent thread on this. 39 and nuchal 3.6mm. I’m currently 22 ish weeks pregnant and they haven’t found anything in any of the follow-up tests. Including NIPT, amnio and detailed heart and anatomy scans. It has been a horrible rollercoaster since the initial 12 week scan, but I’m hoping and praying all will be well with baby. You will find lots of threads on here with good outcomes with higher nuchal translucency and some threads with not so good outcomes too. But what I was told by fetal medicine is that with a nuchal measurement of 3.5mm to 4.4mm there is a 70% chance of a good outcome.

it’s a really tough time and I really feel for you having to deal with this at Christmas. But don’t despair. All may well be ok. Measurement of nuchal translucency is not a diagnostic test. Sending love. 💐

Thank you so much for replying and sharing your experience with me.
I'm sending you lots of love and strength also. I imagine it's been a rollercoaster.
You're absolutely right, it's not a diagnosis. I feel slightly better reading alot of the threads on here as there are a lot of positive outcomes.
Thank you x
