Referred to fetal medicine and can’t stop thinking about it

Hi everyone. Currently 23 weeks pregnant with baby number two. Went for a scan today as baby was playing up last time. Scan came back and nuchal reading 7.1 . And I’ve been referred to fetal medicine and told to wait for a call.

I just can’t stop thinking about what they could say. Or how long I will have to wait.

has anyone else had experience of this.

Hi, how are you doing? Have you been seen by fetal medicine yet? I was referred to fetal medicine in my last pregnancy (for a different reason) and I remember how anxious and worried I felt. I hope you are okay. I have seen threads on here when people have high NT measurements and everything turned out fine. Fingers crossed this is the case for you too. Did everything else in your scan appear normal?

Hi everyone sorry I haven’t replied back. Been really unwell and so has dc1.

scan was on Friday and came back that the measurements for nuchal fold were within normal range so they are happy with that. Placenta still appears low so will be continued to be monitored. Thanks everyone xx
