Amnio Results

Hi,
I was wondering how long it took for your results to come back?
I had my amnio on Friday and wasn't sure if they include the weekends?
My hospital are only doing the rapid not the full testing.
I'm really struggling with the waiting and it's only been 2 days.
I've just shut myself upstairs away from everyone.
I don't want to see or speak to anyone.

Hello, I had an amniocentesis in December on a Friday too. I think I had the intial results given to me on the Wednesday so didn't have to wait too long. It took 2 weeks for the full results to come back.
Hope you aren't waiting too much longer for your results (or maybe you already have them now?) . The waiting is really hard.

Hi, thank you for your reply.
I finally got my results early Wednesday evening. Thankfully all ok and everything was fine.
The waiting is so stressful.
I hope your results came back fine too.
