Hi everyone. Had a repeat 20 week anatomy scan today at 21+3 and they have referred me to a specialist and my notes say cerebellum appears low and slightly oblique in position. I am so worried that something is really wrong with my baby and they aren't telling me anything. Has anyone had anything like this on their scans please? Thanks in advance

Apologies that you're going through this. Have you had any further info?

@BabyOnBoard90 I had my scan and they could not find corpus callosum and cerebellum still appears low. I have to have an MRI scan this week, I am terrified. Everything else seems perfect including head size and shape and spine. I'm praying that this is wrong or nothing severe. They didn't mention possibilities/ prognosis

@eastview I’m so sorry you’re going through such a worrying time - I don’t have any direct experience but I am keeping everything crossed that the MRI brings reassuring news. Thinking of you Xx

My 8 year old has a small corpus collosum, enlarged ventricles in the brain and some other minor brain abnormalities. His consultant says that lots of people are walking around with a small or no corpus collosum but they have no idea because it doesn't affect them and they have never had a brain scan.
