Hi everyone, my wife and I are in an incredibly difficult situation. She had an mri and they believe the connection within the cerebellum is smaller than expected and a collection of fluid believed to be a blake's pouch cyst. They have not mentioned dandy walker but have also not ruled it out. She is currently 22 weeks and we are not sure what do do. Does anyone have any experience like this. She had a CVS and that all came back clear. Any help is much appreciated. Thank you :)

Bumping.

Glad CVS came back clear, that's a positive - seems to be a unique situation

Hi, yes does seem to be fairly rare and unfortunately doctors can't really give us a clear outcome.

Hi,

Thank you for your comment. It is such a tough time especially when even top doctors cannot give you any answers. Unfortunately we have decided to end the pregnancy as a doctor did say that a high nuchal translucency was not what is expected with a blakes pouch cyst and therefore a huge concern remains that something else is going on as well. It was a hard decision but we believe the best one for baby. I hope you get the answers and support you need during this tough time and my thoughts are with you and your family x
