Hi,

Im 32 weeks pregnant and was hoping someone can share their experience or knows any more info.

I went for a growth scan the other day was the baby was perfect but they found that there was high resistance in the baby cord. I have to go back Friday but of course by nature im really worried.

Has anyone had any experience with this?

Yes it was picked up at my 20 week scan and I had to have an additional growth scan at 36 weeks plus consultant appointment. they would have induced me at 40 weeks had I not had an ELCS (for other reasons).

Hi. Thank you for commenting. Was everything okay with baby?

Yes she was fine :) Have you been given a plan for additional monitoring moving forward?

I had this picked up at 27 weeks. I had doppler scans twice a week and growth scans every 2 weeks. I was induced at 35+5 because baby had stopped growing. She was born healthy albeit tiny (1.61kg).

You’ll most likely have doppler scans once or twice a week and growth scans to make sure baby’s growth doesn’t drop.

Yes, I had the same. Just had more scans to check it all out - baby was induced at 39 weeks for this reason. Perfectly healthy, just small in weight

Going through similar now and stressing OUT, really reassuring to read these positive experiences thank you!! X

We had the same, baby born at 36+6 via EMCS. He was tiny but healthy, and now he is on the 75th percentile.

Thank you @Nursey94 our little bundle was born 2 weeks ago at 37+3 by CS following a failed induction. He was 5lb 6oz and dropped to 4lb 12oz. He's doing well now and gaining weight slowly. Really reassuring to know these kids catch up and grow up healthy :) xxx

Congratulations!
Ours was born at 5lb 4 and then dropped to 4lb 15 and stayed that weight for a week but then definitely piled the weight on since! He is a bruiser now, meeting all of his milestones and generally just lovely
