I had a couple of nights of itchiness. Went into the day care unit and they took a blood test to test my bile acid and liver function level. Bile acid case back normal but my liver function slightly raised. I’ve had not itchiness the last few days. They’ve taken more blood for a full panel of liver tests and have booked a liver scan for me also. Does the raised liver function mean there’s a possibility of cholestasis starting or are they looking for something else? My next appointment isn’t for 2 weeks so I’m just wondering if anyone has any experience of this? I am currently 22 weeks pregnant. Thank you
