Really worried as expecting a phone call on Tuesday after my 12w scan on Thursday

Hello, I had an appointment planned on Tuesday anyway with a consultant even before my scan and blood test. I have not been told what this is related to. I am not overweight and have no health conditions nor am I considered geriatric. I remember at my 8w midwife appt she said she would refer me to the hospital due to my historic mental health problems and the fact that I am still prone to depression and anxiety so I have no idea if this appointment is related to this?

What is worrying me is that although scan showed a healthy baby I had blood test after and she said if problem with blood test I will receive call. My appointment for Tuesday I had received in post prior was supposed to be in person at hospital, then suddenly on Friday I get a text saying I will not be called on Tuesday instead!

I am worrying myself sick now and pray it’s not related to blood test. Does anyone know why my appt was suddenly moved to phone? Could it simply be Covid related? Please help!

Whole NHS indeed prioritising the Covid response.

That said, there's also an issue of NHS staff catching COVID or being pinged thus unable to go work. As a result, a number of appointments are postponed.

I wouldn't worry unless they've give you a definite reason to be worried.

Best of luck
