Should I be worried? Called in for a 16 week scan with NHS consultant

Hello! I’ve been invited for a 16 week scan with a consultant, should I be concerned and what should I expect?

My 12 week scan came back with a 1:31 chance for DS. NIPT results came back low risk. For those interested, NT was 3.3mm, HCG 1.49 and Papp-A 0.67.

How did your appointment go?

I had my 12w-+5 scan last week, I'm 42
NT was 1.5 but trisomy 21 came back as 1/30 and trisomy 13/18 came back as 1/63

I had a NIPT today so hopefully will know more in a week

Hi @anothermonthbitesthedust sorry I’ve only just seen this! The appointment went fine and all looked as it should for 16 weeks. Now waiting for my 20 week scan next week … eek!

How are you doing? Did you get your results back ok? Hope your pregnancy is going well. I know how nerve wracking the wait for the results is xx

Thanks the harmony test came back as low risk for all 3 trisomys and I had a private scan on Sunday and all looks good

@HopefulRose how's your pregnancy going. I'm 34 weeks tomorrow. Been a very complicated pregnancy and now will probably deliver within the next 2 weeks. You?
