Fetal medicine call back with results, who does the call?

Curious as to those who have been referred to fetal medicine for follow up bloods is it usually a screening team or consultant who would call back regardless of realise?
Currently waiting for some bloods back and panicking as received a vm from the consultant who said they would try again tomorrow.

In my experience it was whoever had time. Sometimes labs called directly, sometimes the consultant.

It was a midwife for me (the results turned out to be good)

It was the screening midwife for me.
