Hello

We had our 12 week scan on Tuesday. NT was 2.1. I was just wondering how long blood test results are taking lately? Anyone had a test in the past month? Wondering how long the wait time will be.

Thank you.

I heard back about a week after my scan with a high risk result.

With my first pregnancy, I don't think I heard anything until my 16 week midwife appointment as there hadn't been any indication of high risk.

They literally rang me within a couple of days

@Johnson10 thank you for your response. I'm still waiting on any results and it was Tuesday last week. Hope to hear something by the end of the week.

I know exactly what you mean there. Hopefully, your nerves will calm a little once you have had your results.

Hope you get them soon, waiting is awful. Not sure if it's the case across the country but I was told I'd receive a phone call if there was anything untoward & that would be within about 48 hours of my appointment, if all was fine I'd just get a letter in the post. Hopefully the same is the case for you and the fact you've not heard yet means it's all low risk.

I haven't had my dating scan yet but I was told at booking appointment that following dating scan high risk result would be communicated within 3 days but low risk result could take up to 2 weeks, so it seems the longer you wait the less likely there is a problem.
