12 weeks scan left feeling anxious

12 week scan showed nuchal fold was 3.5mm. Awaiting bloods and further discussion with consultant but anxiety levels are sky high. Trying to keep positive but this being in limbo not knowing is making me fear the absolute worst. Is anyone else going/gone through similar.

Thinking of you. Have they indicated when you may get the results of the combined test?
My screening came back as a cause for concern and I've had further tests to work out what is going on for sure, so I know how you are feeling. The waiting is horrid.

@Daisycat16 we had an NT of 4mm at our 12 week scan. Combined bloods showed 1/359 chance of downs. Which isnt considered high risk at our trust. I booked for the harmony test for furthee peace of mind which all came back as 1/10,000. We then had a 16 week scan and 20 week scan with the consultant checking babies heart, brain and overall development. All absolutely perfect and as should be. We have been told to put any concerns out our head and to enjoy the rest of the pregnancy. Im 22 weeks friday and so far everything is as normal as should be and hopefully just one of those unexplained things. I totally understand how anxious the waiting time is for you. I read through so many posts on here and google 🤦🏼‍♀️ i feel a lot more relaxed now about the situation but would suggest for peace of mind if youre able to then the harmony was fantastic for giving me peace of mind. We were able to get the amnio but my midwife stated that they normally suggest cvc/amnio or harmony rather than doing both as the harmony is a good indicator.

Thanks for your encouraging words. Combined test results are due back next week so I’m very grateful the wait isn’t too long (even though it feels like it). I will definitely think about the Harmony test for extra peace of mind x
