I think l am going crazy here . So l had a scan at 14weeks and they found some serve heart defect with my baby . Usually any abnormalities are picked up around 19- 20 weeks I believe .
A part of me believes its too early to make this diagnosis and maybe at 20weeks the baby will be a bit bigger and the heart would have developed / formed a bit more .
Is it possible that the diagnosis was a mistake due the early gestation ? Has anyone ever had a fetal anatomy defects picked up so early ?
Or am l in denial about this ?
Please help ?
