Hi everyone, first time being pregnant and I’m anxious and curious about everything! So I had my scan last Wednesday and had bloods taken, was just wondering with everything going on at the moment due to covid, how long the wait would roughly be for the results, is it a letter in the post? My NT was 1.8 which the lady told me was fine but that I still had the bloods to wait for..
I’m 29, and just worrying now as I’d like to tell friends and family without any worries xx

Might vary depending on where you live and how much Covid has impacted on post etc, but I had my screening bloods done on 2nd November in my local hospital (Wales) and was told it would likely take 2-3 weeks to receive the results letter. 😊

Having said that my letter has literally just come through the letter box! So for me it's been 10 days, hope that helps x

I got a letter through the post, it took about 4 weeks.
But I was told that if it was high risk, I would be contacted within a week.

Usually you'll get a phone call within a few days if anything is wrong or a letter within 2 weeks if everything is fine. It took 8 days for my letter to arrive

I got my letter today! 😊 was just curious as it says my actual results will be discussed with me at my 16 week midwife appointment, for some reason I thought they put them in the letter x
