Hi all - I got my combined test results back and am 1 in 166 for downs. How would you feel about that? Only 16 away from what would be considered high risk.

@Stassi it's difficult. I'd have felt worried if I'm honest but then I am a worrier! I got 1:110 and was in the high risk category and had the NIPT, but I think if I'd have got any number that felt a bit too 'close' I'd have opted for the NIPT. It was a worrying time waiting for the results but when they came back low risk I felt much better. Now I have a bit of perspective 1:110 isn't that terrible, it's less than a 1% chance (yours is even less than that). But I struggled to see it that way until I'd have the low risk NIPT back.

Only you know how much it will or won't play on your mind but I'd say if you think you'll worry, get the NIPT to put your mind at rest.
