Harmony Test Wait - cannot handle the wait

Gave bloods on Friday, lab received them on Saturday, was supposed to have a response by today.

Nurse told me yesterday that someone who had their bloods taken on Thursday had results yesterday.

The wait is horrible. Have now been told if the result doesn't come by this evening I may have to wait till Monday.

Don't think I can handle another weekend of wait.

The Quad test gave me a 1 in 5 risk and I'm only 25.

Give the lab a call, they won't tell you the result but they'll tell you if they've sent the report to wherever you had it done. Lab open until 6

Is it a private clinic or NHS? Our private clinic called me in a Saturday morning with DS1. Less likely with the NHS I would have thought.

Called the lab and although they are open till 9pm the Harmony test happens in the genetic department and he couldn't advise anything about them and he thought they closed at 5.

It's through the NHS and the nurse said the doctor may call me in the evening but she didn't specify up until what time in the evening.

But it's around 7 now so I guess I will have to wait till Monday. Also my birthday on Monday so really hoping its not bad news.
