I’m in a similar position, but so far everything is looking ok.
I had an NT reading of 4.2 at my 12 week scan, but weirdly I’m another one that took ages to get the reading, the sonographer had me jumping around loads to try and move the baby so that she could get a reading. She originally said 3.9 then 4.2. I was worried sick, cried for days. Luckily my bloods were good, so I had a 1:151 risk for downs, but I went for the CVS anyway.
7 days later I had the CVS and the NT had gone down to 2.5. The CVS and array Cgh came back completely clear.
I have Fetal heart scan booked for 20 weeks, just after my anomaly scan. However, we decided to pay privately for an additional earlier fetal scan at 15 weeks which we had yesterday (my understanding is that if it wasn’t for the pandemic this would be standard, and I wanted reassurance). Thankfully the heart looks totally normal so far.
It’s a scary time, and I’ll be nervous before the 20 week scans, but I am finally starting to relax again now.
I really hope you can get some reassurance, it’s good news that your NT is only borderline high.
Missy, I have heard anything about extra monitoring scans, when did they offer those to you? After 20 weeks? I know all trusts are different. Mine didn’t offer NIPT.
