Sorry to hear you are going through this @peggy120688, especially after all you have already been through.

There are a number of us on this board that have been through this - if you have any questions around the process then please do ask, will be thinking of you.

P120677 · 07/01/2020 10:41

@Conorgog
Please could any one advise me on what the medical termination will consist of

Conorgog · 07/01/2020 11:15

Hi @P120677 - are you the OP?

I have only had experience with surgical, but I believe with a medical it depends how far along you are, what the exact process is - if you repost this under a new heading with specifics someone should be along to help you. Thinking of you.

P120677 · 07/01/2020 11:20

@Conorgog thank you so much xx

Nanmumandmidwife · 07/01/2020 23:11

So sorry to hear what you are going though I can provide you with specific info if you need it as I am a specialist in this. PM me if you need to x

I am so sorry you are going throught this - we went through the same in Nov
My daughter was 18 weeks with DS plus heart problems.
the hosp were fantastic - its a normal birth, they inserted some tablets to start me off, you can have any pain relief you want. i had methodine syrup but this actually made me feel sick
I experienced labour pain and then my waters broke and she came out
we spent time with our daughter and had some photos taken, we also had ber blessed by a local vicar - the hosp took hand and foot prints
my only regret in the whole process is when she was born i didnt hold her as sooN as she was born but waited for the nurse to bring her back in a shawl - I was worried about how she woud look and whether that would haunt me - it didnt she was beautiful
The procedure isnt scary just heartbreakingly sad xxxx
