Had cvs test 2 weeks ago

Had cvs test two weeks ago all results came back clear
Went for scan at fetal medicine today and baby had died.
Feel so sad and numb.
Does anyone have any first hand experience of a medical termination and how it was and how you felt
I have to do go in Xmas day for first tablet

Oh I am so sorry to hear that. I don’t have any experience to help you, but I didn’t want to leave your post unanswered.

@Leggy123 I’m so sorry. What a horrible thing to go through regardless of the time of year but even harder perhaps at Christmas. I’m afraid I don’t have any experience of medical terminations to share with you but I had a surgical tfmr in July this year and can assure you that all the staff were kind and compassionate, making a hard process as smooth as it could be. Take good care of yourself x

Oh gosh I’m so sorry. What an awful thing to happen. I had to have TFMR after an amino at 16 weeks so I know a little bit how you are feeling. It was a long time ago for me but I know that afterwards I got back to normal physically very quickly. But I cried every day for three months. It was a period of great turmoil.

I’m sorry you have to go through this. I remember feeling so sad and pointless. I did heal though and went on to have two children (one within a year). Wishing you courage and peace.
