Has anyone fell pregnant within the recommended 3 months and gone on to have a healthy pregnancy and child?

We got back 10 weeks ago and I've just found out I'm pregnant

OP it is unclear from your post - did you have confirmed ZIKA or just visited a country/lived in a country that has it present?

@Tini17 sorry panic wrote!!

We visited Bali which is a zika risk affected area. They advise you to wait 3 months before trying for a baby even if you have no symptoms.

I didn't have symptoms neither did my husband but yes we have been home 10 weeks and I've just found out I'm pregnant

@WBWIFE did you get bitten?
I would talk to your GP / Midwife about it.
It is highly unlikely that you contracted it but they will be able to advise better.
My GP was very supportive when we travelled to a country on the affected list at 10wks pregn and helped me to find out info about tests etc should they be needed post return. As it turns out, we did not encounter one mosquito but was helpful to be prepared.

@Tini17 I will contact them tomorrow, I only found out last night and was on contraception so massive shock.

I was bit to pieces when we were away but I had no symptoms. I've had a look on the guidelines for NHS and it says they will take blood samples and put me under consultant led for additional scans.

I've managed to find a group about it and all the ladies from the UK I've spoken to have all been fien that's had no symptoms so fingers crossed.

Thank you for your reply x
