Boy or Girl???

Hey everyone, I’m after your thoughts on the gender of my little baby!

I went to a specialist who was recommended to me for my 12 week scan, he has many many years experience and told my partner and myself that we were having a little girl! He went off the nub theory.

Today my partner and I decided to have a 16 week scan done (I had a check up done a couple days ago and my doctor showed me my baby and my partner missed out so I decided to suprise him with this scan so he could see our little bubba) anyway the sonographer told us it’s a boy, she said baby was in a difficult position and it took her some time to come to her conclusion.

What do you all think? I’m honestly not sure, I thought for a boy it would be more obvious!

To me it looks like a hamburger and has the 3 lines which indicates a girl .... but I have no idea, thoughts???

We had 3 the burger and it was a girl. I looked every scan to make sure nothing had grown

I think because I’m new I have to wait 24 hour until I can upload it

Sometimes the penis doesn't show up until a later son. Thats why they're relunctant to say. I had some growth scans an nothing ever had changed or grown. They're relunctant to say it's a girl until nearer the time for the fact things that were hidden can suddenly come out 😂 congrats on the baby btw

Sonographer here, looks like a boy to me although it’s never 100%. I wouldn’t even attempt to determine sex at 12 weeks, genitalia are similar at that stage

I have had 3 boys and 1 girl, the boys scans all looked exactly like that, my girls scan was very different.

I don't think the sonographer you saw at 12 weeks should have told you baby was a girl, quite irresponsible of them really.

Wait till the 20 week scan, things will be even clearer then
