Anatomy scan

I recently had my anatomy scan at 21 weeks and my baby was too far down so the sonographer could not finish the scan because my baby wouldn't move out of the position he was in. The sonographer said i would just have to come back in a week so she could finish it off. Is it possible there could be an issue because my baby was not moving out of the position he was in

Could he have just been sleeping? Have you felt him move since?

I’ve had to have loads of scans repeated because of uncooperative babies, placenta and cord in the way etc. If the sonographer has a genuine concern, I am sure you would have seen or been referred to a fetal medicine consultant straightaway.

I had this several times. I was advised to drink some ordinary coke (sugar and caffeine) about 15 minutes before to get baby moving
