Anyone else waiting for NIPT results?

I am driving myself mad. Constantly checking emails and completely on edge.
Bloods were taken early on Weds 20th Feb so not expected back until the end of this week (7 working days) but I am obviously still wired in case they are early.
I know a watched iPhone never beeps but this is driving me crackers.

Anyone else in the wait?

@Megan2018 hi how are you doing? I had my test done yesterday was told 3-5 days hoping it will be end of the week but could be next. Did they say they would ring you first? Mine was through the hospital so they send the results there and they will ring as soon as they find out. Try to keep busy and mind occupied with anything else. It’s hard as we’ve not Announced this pregnancy yet due to the test x

Stressed!!
I am expecting an email rather than phonecall. I was told up to 7 working days. Today is working day 5 if you count day of test. So expecting to hear between Weds and Fri.
It is excruciating!
We won’t announce until have had results and 12wk scan.

Oh so not too long left now, did you go direct to a testing place? They said to count the day they receive the bloods as day 0 so that was either today or Tomorrow depending on the post. The hospital said they would check emails constantly so as soon as they know they tell you. Could you phone them up? I’m at week 18 so it’s getting pretty hard to keep it quiet. I hope you don’t have to wait much longer maybe give them till lunch tomorrow and phone? x

Yes mine was a private clinic at 10+2. Will be 11+2 tomorrow. They will have received bloods on Thursday 21st so my results won’t be late even on Friday 1st.
I’ll call them Friday if not heard by then though, I need to give it the full 7 days before I chase.
I’m just so worried about the results I can’t think of anything else.
Hope you get yours soon too! Did you have it because of concerns at scan?
We had it just because we are old-I am nearly 41 and DH nearly 46, first DC.

It’s so hard not to worry, yes because of my age being 40 the NT result with the bloods at 12 weeks came to a 1.60 result so still a good chance everything is fine but wanted to be sure. The midwife did reassure me and said they know people are waiting for these results and they send them on as soon as they are done.

Hi Megan. Just a hand hold. As you know I spent the last two weeks waiting for my results. Was convinced by the deadline that my baby had all three chromosome defects! Hope yours come back very quickly with good results

NIPT results in! All low risk 1/10,000
And we are having a girl!
