Hi,

I'm really worried as they mentioned they would inject radio isotope, which can risk my unborn child to cancer.

I am terrified.

Anyone had this done and baby was fine?

Read this:

You have to weigh up the risks, if I was pregnant and they thought I had a PE - I would just have a CTPA, quick easy, relatively small radiation risk - which would put weigh the risk of a pe that’s on the move. I have done many CTPAs on pregnant ladies. Good luck x
