Downs screening test worried it's not correct

I've just had my down's screening test results back and they say I'm low risk (1 in 8400 chance). I know I should be reassured by this but I feel like the results could be wrong, I was low risk with my first baby too (1 in 2200) but I am thinking that surely three years down the line I should be higher risk than last time just due to my age? It's really playing on my mind and I'm thinking of having further tests. Has anyone else had the same experience, is it common for your risk to decrease? Any thoughts or experiences would be greatly appreciated, I can't stop worrying!

I'm sure everything is normal. However if you want accurate results pay privately for a Harmony or Panorama test. Results back in a week and will give you accurate Downs result and screen for a number of other genetic disorders.
Good luck OP

There is a 1 in 8400 chance, low risk but if you want more certainty and have the money have the harmony test. Obviously someone will be that one in 8400.

Thanks so much for your replies, think I'll go with the harmony test

Years ago and the triple test, first was 1/146 and 2 years later second was 1/2000. I was 23 and 25 yrs old.

I doubted the second result too!
