What to do?

Had our 12week s an on Monday but due to baby's position the lady couldn't measure the NT but from what she could see it looked very thin and not concerning at all. But I now have to have the quad test in 3 weeks. Even though she said there's nothing on the scan to concern her I'm now anxious and wondering whether to go for NIPT. I'd have to pay for it myself and I doo tbh really have the money at present so does anywhere do an interest free credit option?

If she said it looked thin I wouldn't worry, she'll have seen a lot and know what to look out for.

This happened to me with my second pregnancy and I just had the quad test with no issues.
This time round they couldn’t get the NT measurement again as I have a retroverted uterus but offered a repeat scan a week later in which they managed to get it (I was 13+5 by that point so just within the time limit).
Some of the private scanning clinics near me offer a NT scan plus bloods for approx £100 which is cheaper than NIPT?

I hadn't thought of a private NT scan. I did ask if I should go back the next day but she didn't seem keen and just said to do the bloods. Where we live there's very limited options for going private but I'll have a look. How long do quad test bloods take to come back?

@cariadxx mine came through within a week. Had them taken the Friday morning and they called me on the Wednesday. I think they take 7-10 days to come through the post but they’ll call if anything causes concern (which is what happened with me) x
