Not enough DNA for harmony test

Has anyone had this happen to them?
I had my bloods done for the Harmony NIPT test at 10+4 but they've come back saying there's not enough dna to detect a result so I have to go back next week when I'll be 12+4.

I'm panicking things aren't right?!

The earlier you are the more likely that can happen (from what I understand). Also a bit more likely if your weight is higher as you have more of your own blood diluting the cells, but that’s not always the reason. Shouldn’t mean anything is wrong!

Happened to me as well its apparently common enough if tge test is done in or around 10 weeks

I'm not overweight at all, I'm under 8 stone.

It's such a worry!

@Thisoneisnottaken did you have a retest 2 weeks later?

Happened to me too. Had retest a couple of weeks later and all was fine.

This makes me feel a little better - thank you!

I have my 12 week scan tomorrow so praying all looks ok there. I'm also booked in for the combined test tomorrow which I was going to cancel but I'll probably go ahead with it now just in case my Harmony retest comes back the same.

Yes exactly was retested and that time it was fine!

Happened to me too! Retested and all was fine. My 7mth old is currently lying on my tummy grinning while I try to convince him it’s still sleepy time! Lol
