Took the tablets at 3pm, pain started at 6 and bleeding. I’m in so much pain, I’m pouring blood and have lost a lot of clots. I can’t stop crying and rocking. I’m so exhausted and weak 😭

I have no advice at all but I'm here x

Twodogsandahooch · 18/04/2018 22:27

Can you call the unit? If you are bleeding that much you might need to go in.
Thinking of you

ConstantlyCold · 18/04/2018 22:30

You poor thing. I’ve got no advice I’m afraid.

Did they tell you to expect a lot of blood and clots? Hope it gets better for you really soon.

hattiesmumm · 18/04/2018 22:33

They said it will heavy bleeding, I’m not really soaking pads just more when I sit on the loo or stand in the bath.

I can’t believe the pain. Iv had to put a nappy in my pants 😭

I agree you should call the unit immediately.

If you are worried about breeding call the hospital. As for the pain, I had the same medication (but for miscarriage) and the pain was indescribable. I was in hospital so ended up with morphine.

HoobleDooble · 18/04/2018 22:43

I was about to recommend an unfolded nappy, but you're already there. When I had a miscarriage a few years ago I was left on a trolley in A&E and was bleeding so heavily it was dripping onto the floor. After I'd passed everything I bled moderately for about a day, then it eased off. Hope you're ok, phone NHS 111 if you're at all worried.

notenoughbottletonight · 18/04/2018 22:44

If it gets to the point where you can't take it then ring the number you were given when you were discharged/went home. My termination was nowhere near as bad as what yours sounds.

SpringNowPlease2018 · 18/04/2018 22:47

Id call the hospital too I think
Is anyone with you? If not can you call a friend? Flowers

HoobleDooble · 18/04/2018 22:47

I was initially given paracetamol, then pethidine, then finally morphine. I was so out of my head that I didn't think to tell them that pethidine makes me violently sick. Spent what felt like hours in the loo, squirting blood out with every heave.

Coffee3 · 18/04/2018 22:47

Hi Op,

I’m so sorry you’re going through this; it is so so difficult in so many ways and the pain is like nothing else. In my experience there is generally one excruciatingly bad night (when things always feel worse too) and then it settles down. Seeing so much blood and clots is pretty scary, and it feels so weirdly hot coming out but it did give me some reassurance that it was all coming out , if that makes any sense?
I hope that the morning brings you an easier day Flowers

Coffee3 · 18/04/2018 22:48

Oh, and I just stayed sitting on the loo for hours with a blanket over my legs ; seemed easier somehow!

MollyHuaCha · 18/04/2018 22:59

I hope you feel a lot better soon. Thanks

Jon66 · 18/04/2018 23:04

Morphine works well. You need some heavy duty painkillers. Call them.

hattiesmumm · 19/04/2018 01:20

Sorry I managed to drift off!

Iv woken up bleeding a lot less. Just been toilet and lost some little bits of pink tissue, not sure if bleeding has calmed down because I’m laid down?

Pain has practically gone! Just feel so emotionally and physically drained.
