20 Week Anomoly Scan

It's said in the notes that the 20 week scan should be done between 18w and 20+6 but we can't get seen until 21+3 - is this a problem? Should I try and get an appointment elsewhere at another hospital in the given period?

I think there's 2 parts to it. 1 to have it early enough to be able to terminate for non medical reasons. 2 because it gets harder to view after then. I would try to get one I the right time window tbh

Hospitals are audited on when these scans are performed and it should always be before 20+6. I’d ring the hospital and ask to speak to the antenatal screening midwife to see if she can change yout appointment

I had exactly at 21wks. Don't think so that couple of days will have such a big diference. Would suggest talking with midwife first
