Waiting for Harmony test results

Hello.

I am 13 weeks and 2 days pregnant with my first baby and 29 years old. We had our 12 week scan last week and was lovely to see the baby.

I immediately noticed that the baby had a lot of fluid behind its neck (nuchal translucency) and the sonographer measured it. It was 3.7mm and we were told that it was not in normal range. I received my combined test results on Friday and was told that the baby was 1:18 for downs. I was devastated by the result. We had the NIPT/harmony test done yesterday. I feel so anxious and all over the place with it. The wait is going to kill me! I just want a healthy baby.

Has anyone else had a similar experience? Would be great to hear other people's experiences.

Sorry to hear what you are going through. I know just how stressful the process can be. I have just had a positive NIPT test for Downs Syndrome after getting a combined result of 1:58 from the hospital.

It is a very emotional time but try to keep busy while waiting for the result and make sure any decision for the baby is yours and your partners.

The hospital and team at the private clinic have been so wonderful to me so just know you won't be alone.

I hope you get the result you want.

Just remember you have a 17 out of 18 chance that your baby does not have Down's syndrome.

My results were 1 in 34 and I had a CVS the same week which came back all clear.

Worst week of my life but I had forgotten about it until this thread popped up. It's a lifetime away as I sit here feeding my five week old.

We are in a very similar situation as we saw 4mm nuchal fold yesterday and also had Harmony done yest

Have you heard when to expect your results?

Hi, I had the Harmony test on Weds, expecting results by next Thurs. I found it such a shock when they said I was high risk for Down's so know how you feel. My baby's nuchal measurement was normal but I had abnormally high hormone levels from my blood test. Best of luck for your results x

Had my results and we're very lucky that they are clear but I wish I felt more relieved! I'm still worried about other problems not apparent yet

Hello! I got my results back. We've been given less than 1 in 50,000 chance of our baby having downs, Edwards or Patau's syndromes. We are so relieved! Got our cardiac scan tomorrow to check the baby's heart and then hopefully can draw a line under this part of our pregnancy journey so far x

I'm so happy for you purplejuke it must be such a massive relief! I'm still nervously awaiting my results, hope to know by Thursday. I hope you enjoy the rest of your pregnancy

We had our results last Thursday and our baby is confirmed as having Downs, we were a 1 in 5 chance. I am 14 weeks and 2 days. We seen the consultant on Monday and have decided to wait until the 20 weeks scan. We are all over the place at the moment and are struggling. Waiting for the result is agonising big hugs and try and stay strong xx
