Hi Ladies, I have a fasted GTT next week just at the doctors and the midwife said I need to drink some lucozade before hand, but it can't be the new style lucozade as it has reduced glucose. It needs to be 25% glucose, but I can't find it anywhere! Any suggestions before I give the midwife a call??

Thanks xx

Hi Vicki190, We have been informed that Lucozade is no longer recommended for the oral glucose tolerance test due to the fact that the glucose content has been lowered. It is important for you to discuss this with your health professional.

Thanks, but luckily I managed to find some lucozade with the recommended 25% glucose today!
