Does this gender look correct?!

Hi,

I had been on a few sites with my 14 week scan to do a gender prediction, I was also stupid I know & paid for one done! ..
Anyway everything came back a girl!!
Had my 20 week scan yesterday & they said boy! I'm over the moon as I already have 2 girls already but I'm just worried this may be incorrect!

I have read a lot of people have been told wrong mainly saying girl & being a boy, & only a few the other way round. So I know it's not so common but i just wanted to know if anyone could see this too?

There not the greatest of pictures with the genital area I know, but worth a try! Grin

They aren't the images you need to see to predict the sex, They look from a view with their legs open shot from the bottom, You won't be able to determine from that view.

oh right! my notes say 'genitalia appears male (up to 98% accuracy)' so does this mean this is a very strong finding?? x

Seems to be yes, My first child I was told was a girl, I was a bit suspicious about that and luckily had to go back again as they couldn't see the face bones properly, The lady asked if I wanted to double check and lucky she did as it was a boy, Perhaps he's developed a bit more than in your previous scan, Or perhaps your sonographer is better at telling.

oh that was lucky for you then!! yes maybe, thank you! I am more convinced now then Wink

Why not wait until you're 30 weeks and have a 4D scan done. Will be clearer to see the gender and a lovely experience to see what your baby looks like too.

I say 30 weeks because that's when baby has filled out more and will get a good picture

thank you Lottie! Grin

good thinking, I wonder how much they are. I'll have to look into that, would be interesting especially as this will be my last for sure!! Halo just for the fun of it!

Op they're quite pricey but they're really worth it. My friends have all had one done. I wish I did with my other two and I'd love to with my current pregnancy but I think the only thing that's stopping me is that I didn't do with with my other Dc and I feel guilty lol

aww bless you, you still should for the experience! never will otherwise if you think like that hehe Smile

Well this is defo going to be my last and I think the only way to not feel guilty is taking the kids with me to experience it too. If you do go make sure you show us pics 😊 I'm only 16 weeks so you'll be going before me lol
