Hi ladies
I went for my booking appointment last week where I had bloods and urine taken. Got my results back a couple of days after, bloods were all normal but my urine said My white cells were 72/ul r (normal range 0-50) and epithelial cells were 152/ul r (normal range 0-55). Red blood cells in normal range. It also said at the bottom that the final result was "take note of pus cells found in urine". Some background info - I have always suffered with fairly regular utis ever since I was sexually active (around 4 years I'm 22 now) however in the last 6 months or so I've been suffering with about an hour of cystitis symptoms daily with some white discharge. However I cleared this up with the realisation that it was talcom powder that was causing me irritation. Was fine for about a month but then suddenly a day after I got my results back I've started feeling the classic burning wee and stinging urethra when not weeing. I'm really worried I've had this infection for a while and not realised! Could anyone shed some light on what these results could mean by the increased epithelial cells and white blood cells please, I'm 14 weeks 3 days pregnant. Thank you x
