How reliable are GTT tests?

I had one at 26 weeks and results came back normal. I am now 32+4 and at my growth scan on Friday baby has gone from just over average size at 28 weeks to 97th centile. I am having another GTT tomorrow. No glucose in any urine samples. Just wondering how accurate they are and could it say I don't have GD when I actually do?

It's a pretty good indicator. Not perfect. But would certainly highlight problems
