Abdominal cyst

I had my dating scan today where they discovered my baby has an abdominal cyst. I'm going to be referred for more investigation to fetal medicine. Has anyone ever had this? What could it be? I was in such shock when they told me i didn't ask any proper questions.

Hi , I had my 20 week scan last week and have been told baby has free fluid in abdomen and that’s it . Refered to Fetal medicine for scan tomorrow. How did you get on in the end ? Think I’m clutching at straws as well can hardly find any information and what I can find is not good :(

Hey @Timeflyin, my LO was found to have a “cyst” in their abdomen @ my 20w scan….. was referred to FMU… haven’t had much answers from them in terms of what the outcome will be… also have scoured the internet looking for answers :(. Have to have MRI @ 30-32w.
