Harmony test in Edinburgh, don't use the Edinburgh Clinic at Colinton road

I have spent getting on for two weeks trying to arrange a harmony test at the Edinburgh Clinic. They have a completely rubbish system where they are not able to book Appts with the consultants but have to contact them directly. This has led to email tag with two consultants, repeatedly chasing, delays in consultants getting back, when they do get back with availability the clinic saying they have no rooms at those times and it all starts again. After nearly two weeks I am no closer to an appt. I think their system shows no respect for the situation that couples are in when they are told they have a relatively high risk of a baby with downs.
So yesterday I was told that baby bond also do this test, phoned today and got an appt for this sat, and £150 cheaper than the Edinburgh Clinic! They have a sane system where they know what staff are available when and can just book you in over the phone.
I am just posting this so that the info is out there for any edinburgh women googling harmony test edinburgh in the future!

You should definitely complain to the manager/director re this, clearly this type of appointments system does not work and they need to know that - they are running a business after all!

Hope everything goes well on Sat.

OP, thanks for this!

Can I ask how your experience was at Babybond for Harmony? Was it a good experience? I haven't heard of that clonic before.
