Panicking over letter

This will prob seem so daft to most of you but came home today to find a letter giving me a midwife appointment for Tuesday.

I'm high risk because if diabeties and currently 14weeks but I was only in the clinic lat week and have appointments booked for 3weeks time. No mention of this new one.

The only thing I can think is I had my nt scan last wed. Would they give me an appontment if there was something wrong? Or would they call? I've not had a call yet telling me my results and I'm sick with worry that there's something wrong

If there was a problem with your results then the usual procedure is to call you, not notify you by letter.

In our area if there is any issue they call. There is no way to know a letter gets there or if some one opens it etc. if they need to see you they phone every time

Trust me, if it was to do with your screening result they definitely would've called you. As you said you are high risk so it could be something to do with your diabetes. But if you're worried then why not call your midwife on Monday?

I work in a high-risk diabetes obstetric clinic. We see our patients fortnightly (at least) sometimes weekly with daycare in between.

If I've read your OP correctly, there were due to be 4 weeks between appointments? If that's the case, it sounds like another appointment has been added in to take you to the usual level of care for someone with diabetes in pregnancy.
