Pill for under 9weeks

I'm about 2 and a half weeks pregnant - very unplanned and given the circumstances, 'unwanted' :(

I have a consultation at BPAS on Friday and I'm guessing the pill would be the best option but having never been in this situation before, I have no idea what to expect. I have no one to take with me so I'm pretty scared. Does anyone have any experience of this? TIA.

Oh bless you, sorry to hear you have to go through this on your own. With the pill form you take two over two consecutive days I believe, I personally haven't had the pill I always found out too late and had to get a surgical termination. I've heard really good things about BPAS and they do have a website which can talk you through the process of the Medical termination Here is a link:

I took the two pills. You don't feel much with the first one but the second one really makes you vomit so you have to come home and go to bed after it.

You might not vomit, people react differently. I had the pills quite a few years ago so I don't know if things have changed. My first visit was quick to take the first pill, then went home. They told me I might bleed and have light cramps but I didn't have any side effects. Returned to have the second pill two days later, the nurse was so lovely. I was encouraged to drink plenty of water and walk around. They had also told me to bring a bag of snacks, spare clothes and pads. After a while I had some period cramps, then shortly after it was all over. I did change clothes, but just to feel cleaner. The nurse came over and brought me a cup of tea and we had a chat to see how I was. I'll be honest my main feeling was a sense of relief. When I got home I was tired so spent the evening resting, but I was back to uni the next day. I do agree that you need someone with you, just for moral support and also to make sure you get home safely. Don't worry you'll be ok.
