Antenatal Options in SW London

Hi All,

This is my first post, so apologies if I have put this in the wrong place, but I am expecting my first baby after IVF and am looking for some advice on antenatal options in my area. I have looked in to the NCT classes in my area, but they are a quite a bit more expensive than I had thought and currently we just can't afford it. Does anyone have any experience on the NHS class at Kingston or know of any other options that I could look in to?

Would be really great to meet mums to be in my area as well as learning all that I need to know. Feeling a bit overwhelmed by everything at the moment and not sure where to start with everything!

Thanks so much!

Another option is to join the NCT which is cheaper than the class - our local one has meeting where you can meet other local ppl expecting around the same time

EldonAve - that sounds good. So you can just go along and meet people without going to the class?

I was going to go through NCT classes again with second one just to meet other new mums but that sounds much better.

The NCT subsidise the cost of classes for those on lower incomes (up to 90% of the fee IIRC)- if you think this might apply to you it might be worthwhile checking out their website.
