Nuchal scans? Are they done on the NHS in Leeds?

Hi all, just a quick query. When I had my DC a couple of years ago, nuchal scans were not done on the NHS. We booked a private scan but it was very tricky to get an appointment.

I'm now newly pregnant (!!) and am not due for my booking in appointment with the midwife for another month. Thought I'd ring the private clinic to book in for the nuchal scan so I could have a bit more choice on appointment times but they no longer do the scans.

Is this because they are offered on the NHS now? Is that true of Leeds Primary Care Trust?

Yes they are now offering (I had private in 2009)
