what are the side effects of an abortion in the very early stages, aborting around a month after period was due, what is the method..scared.........

OP the best person to speak to is your doctor as he will be able to advise on the method depending on how far along you. They are explained here: - are.www.nhs.uk/Conditions/Abortion/Pages/How-is-it-performed.aspx

Don't be scared, it will be ok and having been through it i found very few side effects or pain xx

Hope your ok. There are various types of terminations depending on how many weeks you are. I think the side effects would be more emotional and physical. I had a termination many years ago, I bled heavily for 8 weeks or so and a few days after my boobs produced milk and I was leaking which was horrible - I was 20 weeks I think. I think if you are very early you can take the abortion pill, which just brings on a period and apparently u loose the tissue naturally. Your GP or local brook advisory will be able to help you.
