hello all
i have been reading this section for a about a month now and just wanted to add my recent results as reading others on here has helped me alot.
i went for my 12 wk scan thinking i was 12 wksbut turned out i was 14-so they couldnt do the nuchel scan as it was past the time limit.
got my blood results bk with phone call from midwife saying i had 1 in 12 chance of downs.
this is my 4th prenancy and had not any probs like this with my other 3-so came as a big shock-age 35.
ended up havin amino -after much turmoil ect......
and this week on mon had full results back --and baby is fine -and its a girl:)
sat cryingg for about an hour in a daze :)
after going through this turmoil -and the anxiety it caused ----i just wanted to add -a positive experience for anyone whome may be in same boat right now......
i had 1 in 12 chance {bloods alone} and everything came back ok......hope this helps others along the way :)
