Update on cvs test

Today I had the most nerve wracking unexpected call from the hospital as I was supposed to call them tomorrow, but the screening midwife saw my name and saw that the results are in and she decided to ring me before she went home. I had a nuchal fold of 6 mm so went for a cvs automatically to rule out things
It has come back clear, to say I'm relieved is an understatement. We are also having another BOY(this will be 3 boys 2 girls). We now have wait for an appointment which will be made on Monday for a heart scan in London .then hopefully I can start enjoying being pregnant for the last time. We still won't tell anyone though until we have had the all clear from the heart.

ghansell - so glad you had the news youwanted. Would you mind me asking if you were given a 1 in ** chance?? I had a NF of 5.3mm and have been given a 1 in 2 chance based on blood tests - had CVS yesterday. Have prepared for worst, but am all over the place with worry and clutching at straws.

5 days till my result should hear on Thursday.

Adivic they didn't give me a 1 in however many as they didn't think it was worth doing bloods because of my age 37 so they were just going on my 6mm nucha fold.
I also prepared myself for the worst but it as turned out good news as I also had a heart scan on wednesday and they couldn't find anything wrong. I was very surprised to hear this but also relieved. I know have a detailed body scan on Monday to check everything over, deep down now though I know it's all in my favour.
