Couldn't find a name.
Felt rushed by family. Chose a name.
Liked it until it was consistently being pronounced wrong.
Now I hate hearing it, saying it, seeing it.
I don't have another name in mind, but wish I did as think I'd be more willing to change it.

Is it pnd? Or name regret?
Baby is 8 months.

If you haven’t found any other names you like then I wouldn’t rush to make any decisions. If you like it pronounced correctly then just keep correcting people. I have the same issue with my DC name. I love the name but it’s normally pronounced incorrectly so we just use a nickname. Is there a variation/nickname you like that you could use instead?

Have you been to the doc/been diagnosed with ppd/ppa? If not, name regret, but if you have been diagnosed and received treatment and still not change, absolutely also name regret. Would you make a list of the names you like/thought of and see which might suit instead? If you can't think of names straight up, what about trying to find names based on a meaning that you feel fits for them, and start a list that way? E.g. google name suggestions suitable for a bright eyed, determined baby?
