Sertraline 100mg – Day 22 and Anxiety Suddenly Spiked Again… Is This Normal?

Hi mums,
My baby is almost 6 weeks old, and I’ve been dealing with postpartum anxiety.

I started sertraline a month ago at 50mg, and have been on 100mg for 22 days now. After the first 2 weeks, I actually started feeling better — some side effects at first, but then my anxiety reduced a lot and I had no panic attacks for a while.

But suddenly since yesterday, my anxiety has become unbearable again, and I feel like I’m on the edge of a panic attack. It’s really shaken me because I thought I was improving.

Has anyone else experienced this kind of setback or dip even after a few good weeks on sertraline?
Did it still get better after that?
Any good experiences or advice would really help right now. I just need to know if it’s still worth sticking it out.

Thank you 💛
