I'm really sorry to hear you're having such a difficult pregnancy.

I also really suffered with my mental health when I was pregnant, both anxiety and depression but it was more anxiety for me. I did end up taking medication, Sertraline, after doing a lot of research i found the risks were minimal and the benefits outweighed the risks.

Have you reached out to your peri natal mental health team? It's definitely worth doing this if you haven't. Please speak to your midwife about how you are feeling, don't be scared that you will be judged or it will have any repercussions because ot won't. It's a lot more common than you think and has no impact on how you will be as a mum!

Your baby will be fine. I was worried that me being so anxious all the time would have a negative effect on my little girl but it didn't at all. She's the happiest, smiliest little angel.

This seems all consuming now but it will pass and it will all be worth it!

Please do speak to your MW about how you’re feeling @Ann0901. There is support there for you if you reach out.

You might also want to ask @MNHQto edit your post as you’ve added your name to the end and this is an anonymous forum Flowers
