I feel so guilty having these thoughts but severe nausea and tiredness is causing me deep depression in my first trimester, I can't shake these feelings away - is this normal

Hello,is this your first pregnancy? I know it's no fun,at least if it is really severe,it's taken seriously these days. My oldest are round about 50 give or take, first one I was in my teens. Sick morning noon and night. Swore I would never have another. She was left lateral breech,CS. Second,he came for lunch with his girlfriend yesterday we were laughing about it! I was nursing, didn't drive, had to take hospital transport to work, coach, driver had to stop the coach for me to throw up,he couldn't wait for me, I had to flag down the next hospital coach. In the end I got up,threw up,had my breakfast and carried on. I tried all the ginger biscuits everything. Third, felt nauseous wasn't sick, forth at 41, a breeze, laughing about that yesterday as well. I had a chocolate craving and used to buy triple packs of KitKat mars and wolf the lot. I get very "travel sickness" as well. I obviously don't enjoy it, I cannot use public transport. My oldest DS had acupuncture, although make sure you inform them you are pregnant.

Fucking horrible isn't it OP.

If it's HG like what I have push for your GP/midwife to be diagnosed as such and prescribed Xonvea, it's a new med (first line just like cyclizine) and was created especially for severe pregnancy sickness. It's massively taken through edge off for me but I'm still exhausted. I'm 11w now and like you feeling so utterly fed up and counting down the days. Some women find HG so awful they terminate.

How have you been?

@LookingAtMyBhunas yes lovely, I was diagnosed with HG at 6 weeks and still extreme sickness at 19 weeks. They put me on Cyzlizine and another type of anti sickness tablet but it did nothing for me sadly! I’m pushing for Xonvea as I’ve heard good reviews!
you feel so guilty complaining but honestly I’ve never experienced anything like it. I feel incapable of doing anything, I throw up when I’m in the shower, I can’t clean the house, or cook and my husband has had to take all of this on, I just feel so useless. On the bad days I’m really bad, I’ve never experienced mental health like this before, I literally begged the doctor to keep me in over night with a drip and she didn’t bat an eye lid at me. This is my first pregnancy and I don’t think I can do this again, I’m traumatised - forgive me for this rant. I hope you are doing much better, women are just incredible

I really feel for you. I’m 15 weeks and haven’t had vomiting but constant all day nausea. I’m now on Xonvea which I got two weeks ago. The GP suggested today I should wean off of them, I said absolutely not! I’ve also felt really low so sympathise with you. I’ve been wishing for my old life back, when I didn’t feel sick & found enjoyment in things, could go out for dinner, see my friends etc!
I also had a random week of waking up in the night with diarrhea. If it’s not sickness it’s the other end! It’s all so exhausting and a massive shock. I’m counting down the days with you x
