... I am 8 weeks post partum and feeling the blues big time... LOVE my daughter sooooo much it hurts but also feeling blue.

Symptoms are:

Crying, irritable, lack of identity, binge eating, anxious about socialising, feeling lonely, overwhelmed, pressure feeling in head...

I love walking, singing, doodling, hot bath...

Keen to hear what you guys do/ did to lift your mood in these early weeks?

It's been a long time sober I've had my babies @lovebeingamama but I would urge you to speak to the Pandas Foundation. I'm sure they can offer you some coping strategies, they should also be able to offer support.

I'd also have a think about talking to your HV. Ours can refer you to local groups for Mums who are struggling Flowers

It's a cliche but sleep when baby does. Sleep is massively important with mental health and mood.

I also found the more I held, or carried, my baby the better I felt.
