Hello all,
I was just wondering if you have found your work have been supportive of antenatal depression and anxiety?
Long story short I am currently battling for mine to even recognise it as pregnancy related, with my head (I am a teacher) refusing and insisting it is recorded as a normal sickness. I haven't taken much time off for it, far less than I should have, but it really doesn't help when you are recovering from a panic attack for someone to pile on more stress.
Obviously I am gathering all my official evidence and I have contacted my union, it is all in hand that way, but I am just wondering how widespread the misunderstanding that 'pregnancy related illness is only physical' (this was actually alluded to) is?
