7 weeks pregnant - antidepressant advice

Hi

I am 7 weeks pregnant with a very much planned for/wanted baby. Since finding out I was happy for a few days then very, very low. Having extreme thoughts like regret, hoping I have a miscarriage, googling abortions, paranoid my partner is cheating/will leave me and just totally fearful and dread the next couple of years until the baby is in a routine.

I felt like this with my 1st child but I didn't realise it was antenatal depression. I had a terrible time through pregnancy right up to he was 18 months when I decided to ask for help (far too late). I was on antidepressants (Citraplam) for a couple of months and felt the fog starting to lift then I got pregnant and came off them straight away (I know this hasn't helped)

I am so worried to go back on them in case it causes harm to the baby. I know everyone says the risks are small but still. Am I better to get through the next months until the baby is born and then go on them? Has anyone else been on them the whole way through and did the baby have withdrawal etc?

Thanks in advance

God no. Please go to the GP tomorrow and tell them how you feel.
